As a communication disability charity, we rely on donations from generous members of the public and fundraisers to fund communication aids for disabled people. We are delighted to announce that we have received a £10,000 grant from DM Thomas Foundation for Young People, a trust that helps disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Through targeted grant support the foundation helps local and regional community groups as well as charities like ours across the UK & Europe to deliver projects which provide access to opportunities and improved wellbeing.
Providing communication aid for disabled people we are able to provide our members with more a wide-reaching range of opportunities. Bettering people’s lives by providing speech aids, allows them to build relationships, participate in lessons, express their wants and needs and build a future for themselves.
The grant we received from the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People, will go towards sourcing the necessary communication aids for those listed on our current appeals page and beyond.
